And it doesn’t have any psychoactive effects.

The Differences Between CBD and Marijuana:

  • The marijuana plant and the hemp plant (from which cannabidiol is extracted) are two different forms of cannabis.
  • The hemp plant has lower levels of THC, the main compound in marijuana that induces the high feeling when consumed.
  • Similar to CBD, THC may have beneficial effects and a lot of potential. However, CBD has no psychoactive effects, and so, you can enjoy the potential health benefits without dealing with the effects that come with THC and marijuana consumption.

Research suggests that CBD could potentially help boost motivation, focus, and productivity, all in a natural manner. Moreover, CBD extracted from the industrial hemp plant has low THC levels. Legal hemp-derived CBD products should contain less than 0.3% THC. Another study was done recently to look at the relationship between CBD and mood management. It showed that the compound has the potential to reduce the degeneration of endocannabinoids. The study looked at the effect on the anandamide molecule, also known as the bliss molecule, as it affects an individual’s moods. The CBD effect on this molecule suggests that users can potentially experience more balanced moods.
